All the praise is due to Allah, Masjid Al Rasul (MAR) Chicago is proud to announce the purchase of our new masjid building located at 7919 South Ashland Ave, Chicago IL 60620. Our community were blessed to purchase the large facility as well as two adjacent gated parking lots. The building is approximately 12,500 sqft and is strategically located in a high traffic area near a commercial intersection in Chicago's south side. In the near future, MAR Chicago Board of Trustees will be sending out a detailed and itemized renovation budget to restore this former bank building into a beacon of spirituality for the primarily impoverished indigenous American community of Chicago's southside.
It is a part of Masjid Al Rasul Foundation's mission, vision, and goals to try to establish the message of the Prophet (sawa) and ahlul Bayt (as) in the most oppressed and impoverished areas of America. Insha'Allah, we will be successful in spreading the "Husseini" message to everyday Americans.
